Buhle Park is situated south of Germiston, in Ekurhuleni Region, Gauteng, South Africa. As a new township, established in the late 90’s, Buhle park has grown considerably and continues to do so with an estimated population of 13 570 (Census 2011). Buhle Park is rich in farm lands and nature conservative areas.  

Community based projects

Some of the major challenges faced by the community are skills development, poverty, and lack of proper facilities to care for the elderly and children.

Considering the challenges faced by the community, the church in Buhle Park is embarking on having various programms:

ü  Soup Kitchens -soup will be cooked and distributed to the hungry (winter months).

ü  Collect a shoe campaigns – brand new school shoes will be bought and distributed to needy children at a local school

ü  Blanket drives – blankets will be collected and distributed to the needy individuals

ü  Feeding schemes – the church through the NPO will assist to finance a local school feeding programme.

ü  Career days – we envisage offering career day events to assist local school learners with basic career coaching and skills development information

ü  Food parcels – non perishable food items to be collected and distributed to widows and orphans identified.


Buhle Park Church of Christ is embarking on helping the needy with basic human needs and spreading the Gospel of Christ. The church welcomes donations in the form of food parcels, shoes, clothes, blankets or any other donations to facilitate the above mentioned programmes with a goal of helping the needy in our community and in the church.
